Can anyone please recommend areas around Reading/Wokingham that would be good to bring up a family?

We have a baby so looking ahead to good primary schools and would like somewhere outside the town centre that is a bit quieter but on a bus route to either town.

Thank you!

Do you have a budget and a minimum house size? The normal recommendation in Reading is Caversham Heights, but it's therefore expensive relative to the rest of Reading.

Earley and parts of Lower Earley are very family friendly, with many parks, lakes and good schools. Some houses can be very expensive due to the proximity to certain schools. Good bus links to Reading and Wokingham as well as the train line.

Thank you 😊 We’re looking for a 3 bedroom house for around 450k, not sure how far our budget will go but would prioritise a nice location over house size
