Mums in Morningside/Merchiston/Bruntsfield area?

Hi all, just wondering if there are any mums around these areas? I have a 3 month old baby girl - Poppy and am just back on my feet after an awful birth (3 days in labour followed by being turned away from the Royal twice and then sent on a 40 min drive in rush hour to Livingston while 5cm dilated! The labour finished with an emergency forceps delivery that is still healing). So all in all, not a v positive experience, although I would do it all again like a shot to have my little girl.

Hi there, I'm a wee bit further out and also work 4 days a week, plus my 23mth toddler would probably scare you

Have you thought about joining the NCT. They organise a lot of coffee mornings in that area and I'm sure you would be very welcome. How about your local doctors surgery. Ours is The Braids Surgery and they ran it really well, they had an open morning every thursday to get the babies weighed, and then once a month on a Friday had a wee talk so you could meet up with the other mums.
