Babysitting - how much do you pay?

I don't actually live in King's Lynn any more, but my Mum does, and is about to do some babysitting. She has no idea how much to charge. Can anyone give me an idea of the going rate? She's not planning to get rich but equally feels it would be inappropriate to do it for free. It would be nice to know what people pay on average. Thanks

hi, i dont know exactly but have been told is about £4 hour
dont go by that though it just depend on the person wanting the sitter and if they are single parents who cant afford much.
