Weekend groups harrogate

Hi everyone I'm looking for a baby group or an activity to do at the weekend with my 6 month old. My partner works every weekend and having no family in the area they can seem a little long. Id love to hear from anyone who knows of weekend groups or anyone in a similar situation or who perhaps works all week and would like to start a group in the harrogate area. xxxx

Hi, I have a 3 month old son and am also looking for a baby group in Harrogate. I was looking for one during the week but am having to return to work shortly so a weekend one would be good for me too. My partner works 12 hour shifts week and weekends and all my family live 200 miles away so I know how you feel.

Hi, i have a 5month old daughter and id be interested in meeting up too. My partner works the odd weekend but most of the time hes working on our house and wants me out of the way!!! I spent last weekend with no toilet because he was fitting our new bathroom suite. I ended up killing time in the valley gardens on my own, which wasnt fun as my daughter slept the whole time. I nearly resorted to talking to the ducks!

Hi, I was in Valley Gardens as well yesterday morning. Thought it would be a good way to start the day but it was freezing and little one cried nearly all the way there and back gone are the days when a walk in the pushchair guaranteed a nap!! We're looking for groups during the week as well as weekends so if you both fancy meeting up and swapping notes about groups during the week or this Saturday that would be great.

Hi to the both of you! How freaky,cos we were all in the valley gardens at the wkend!! I went sat aft,It was freezing! Woz gonna say you'd reconize me if you saw me empen,im the crazy lady with the pushchair chatting to the ducks!!. Why dont we all meet up? Im only busy this week on thurs and sun, besides that im free. I know of a few tod groups that are on or theres the timemachine/winkies. Maybe we should give the valley gardens a miss?? Its too cold at the min. What you think?

I am up for a meet up. I have plans Thursday morning but other than that I generally free - just got to be around for the school run.
Me and baby are up for getting out the house.

I was the one at Valley Gardens walking round covered in wet cold mud - I fell over in front of everyone whilst pushing the pushchair! CRINGE

Hey! Im same, ive got school run too. Im thking wed or fri then? Just waiting for janine79. Can you get up to the time machine or winkies? Havnt been to winkies in ages so dnt know wots on offer for babies. Time machines got a baby area, thk we dnt actually have to pay either! x

Hi, Wednesday is better for us but could probably do Friday if Wednesday not good for someone. Haven't been to time machine before so that would be fun but as long as we're out of the house we're not that fussy. x

I can do wed or fri and I think the time machine will be good. I would prefer Friday. My baby is too young to enjoy it properly(15weeks) but I am happy to sit down with a cup of tea and have a chat.

Hi, think Fridays gonna be better then! What about 11am? My babys 20wks, so shes the same. Shes teething at the mo so will apoligise in advance for her bad behaviour(were not friends 2day!)R ur babies boys/girls?x

Hi Friday will be good for us as well. So shall we say 11am at the time machine. I have a little boy nearly 7 months called Alfie and we're always happy to have a cuppa and a chat. x

Ill be the one carrying a book with a red rose wedged in it! lol (thk thats from 'uve got mail'). Its quite scary really meeting up with people you dont know! Im looking forward to it though! My daughters called Evie and shes gonna love been in the company of two boys!(shes a minx). Theres a baby area, if we meet up near that? Look forward to seeing you both fri xx

Alfie and I will be getting the bus so I'll be the windswept looking mum with the big baby (Alfie loves his food) easy to spot! See you all tomorrow xx

Hello, hope you both had fun at the time machine. Sorry i didn't make it, I was a bit nervy that you'd both have canceled over night but I couldn't see it cause the thread had gone!!! Some people bloom with babies others turn into neurotic mothers im the latter!!! If you want to try and all meet up again next Wednesday at the time machine would be good for us as my husband can drop us off as I don't drive. If thats not good I can walk into town for coffee cake and chat another day. Hope to meet you both soon have a good weekend xx

Was just ready to go when wed finally sussed each other out! I know wot you mean though it is quite scary meeting up with people you dont know. I went and checked the signing in book for you but cudnt find your name so we thort cos of the thread you hadnt come. Im up for meeting up again and think we should meet up at the entrance this time!x

Hi, i cant make it on wed cos ive got a appointment in leeds in the morning but am free from 1pm. Ill prob go fri instead to mams and prams cos its on then aswell and i need to do something to get back in shape. No houses empen barring a two bed coming up down bilton but ive been in it and the 2nd bedrooms quite small?? The 3 bed on Tansys still up though! Let me know if u both wanna meet up wed aft xx

Hi, have just seen this thread. empen, we met before; remember that windswept day back in September in the Valley Gdns? You were pregnant then. I go to Mams and Prams every week - it's great. Hope to see you there on Wed. If not, I'll maybe be on for a meet-up next Wed aft. It's my last FULL week off before I go back to work next Monday (3 days a week), so I'm squeezing in as much as possible!!
