We are looking at moving to Canterbury and wondered what the area is like generally, and if there are any areas to avoid?
We'd like to live somewhere perhaps on the outskirst in a nice cul de sac, away from the hustle and bustle (if Canterbury has that), and then go into Canterbury for entertainment and nights out etc, so ideally no more than 15-20 mins away from the center.
Could anyone tell me what the commute into London is like by train? Plenty of parking at the station, seats on the train etc? It seems quite convenient if i had to do it a couple of times a week for work.
