hi Cambridgers, just putting the word out because I'm looking for a nanny or a nanny share (DS 3, DD 9mths) three days a week from May and want somebody to solve all my childcare problems with one swift email exchange. We're in the Mill Rd area. thank you!

hi marmee I would love to share with you but too far I think, I am in Godmanchester.

But can I piggy back your thread in case anyone sees this who can't share with you but lives near me...?

Weeelllll, my magic wand is a bit bent and dusty, but maybe it will do the job...

Marmee, I'm investigating the idea of a nanny share at the moment. Here's the bare bones of what I can offer - if you think it might work for you do get in touch:

Concurrent share (ie nanny cares for both families at same time) based at our house in Castle Hill area.

My family: DS1 (6) and DS2 (18 mths), already has a nanny. She's great: likes playgroups, singing, getting out to the park etc. My two love her and are thriving.

However she deserves more money than I can afford so we're talking about the potential of a nanny share to improve her income. Does the idea of a concurrent share work for you? Is there anyone else in the Cambridge area who might find this interesting?
