Moving to Warminster/Westbury/Trowbridge/Bath with SEN child

Hello, We are looking at villages/small towns on the Wiltshire/Somerset border, roughly between Bath and Salisbury. We're flexible because we are moving to be closer to family, but not close to family!

Our biggest concern is that our DD, who is 3, has Cerebral Palsy and has input from Physio, Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy, Dietitian, amongst others.

Can anyone tell me about NHS services and referral times in these areas?

She will go to a mainstream school so anyone who has had SEN experiences of local Primary schools, I would love to hear your experiences as well.

Thank you so much :)

I don't know about mainstream but dp was very happy with dsd's special school in bath, she was bussed there. Bath and NE Somerset council area,

We dont recommend Somerset council area, severely under staffed at the council level

Oh good point. I hadn't thought about the councils. My Mum lives in Taunton and says exactly the same. I'll look into that too. Thank you :)
