Hi, I'm new to this so this is my first post. I have an 8 mth old son and although I am going back to work part time in April was hoping somebody with loval knowledge might be able to recommend activities for me to do with my son in the local area such as play groups, soft play etc. We moved from St Albans a while ago and although there are lots of activities to do there I am loathe to keep driving back every week to take part in them. I currently take my son to swimming classes locally to here but any other classes etc you could suggest around WGC and surrounding villages would be most gratefully recevied. Thank you!

Hi!
I have a 7mth old DD.
I go on a wednesday to the Bumps and Bundles in WGC - (ok up until little ones are crawling) Look it up on Facebook.
Others go on a Wed morning to a church Toddler group- in Parkway WGC - I think its St Francis Of Asassi or something. I may try that out in the coming months.
Ask your HV for details of your local Childrens Centres, theres one in Applecroft School I think.
Hope this helps!

Are you in Welwyn or WGC?

There's a good soft play just behind the big Tesco at Hatfield (Hatfield Kids Funzone).

I know loads of toddler groups towards Hitchin, which might be good if you are in Welwyn, but you might not want to travel if in WGC.

Your local soft play area is JungleMania and The Big Space in Harpenden is really good.
