Hi me and my familt are moving to Banbury, oxfordshire soon with my two little girls and looking for information regarding toddler groups, best schools, good GP surgery?
We will be moving to the bretch Hill area and have no friends so looking to make friends, for me and the kids who are 24 months and 17 months.
Any information is welcomed and friendship is welcomed 😊

Hi, I am living in Banbury also 😀 I have a 15 month old son.
I also had no friends here when I moved a year ago so I know the feeling. There are lots of different groups classes for the littlest ones, there is a Facebook page called Banbury mum squad with up to date groups etc, I also really recommend the app called peanut, it’s to make mum friends in the area (I made most of my mum friends on there)

on Mondays we like to go to either East Street Early Years in Grimsby, Hopping Tots in Bodicote, or Baby bounce (it’s for toddlers not babies) at Spiceball leisure centre in town.

on Wednesdays we go to either Mini Mayhew in Fathinghoe or Play group in Bloxham primary school.

Oh I really recommend the Sunshine centre on Bretch Hill they do lots of different groups, and they are super friendly.

Rugrats and half pints is a good softplay in Banbury, they have just opening a new soft play for 2 years plus in the new cinema complex. Also in the shopping centre there is a small free soft play 😀

I recommend Hightown Surgery, I’ve always managed to get an appt for my son on the day.

If you ever fancy meeting up I would be more than happy to meet and plan a play date!

Welcome to Banbury x

@HJB2021 thank you for reply and advice very helpful.

I'm excited on the move and yes would love to meet up 🙃

My little girls are 2 and 17 months so yes all those that you have said are a must for us otherwise I'll go nuts indoors lol 😆

I was looking at GP and said hightown seems to be the best option for us as my little one has cow's milk allergy so need to make sure she's referred when I do register again xx

@HJB2021 No problem, I hope you settle in okay. My son also has cows milk allergy!

Oh does he, its so tiring isn't it, they want to a food tolerance test this is why I have to make sure the GP I register with is on board as I have to re do everything due to covid everything was a nightmare for me no contact with any health profession help or advice had to wing it by my self.

Thanks hun I'm moving in 2 weeks more information. I get the better, and of course, making a friend is nice as well as we don't have family there. 🙂
