Hi Bungles, welcome to MN. I moved to Carterton between Oxford and Swindon just before Christmas so am still finding where everything is! DS (1yr) loves Jolly Rogers
Hope you feel better soon

Hi Yorky , Jolly Rogers is one of our favourite haunts especially this last few weeks as the weather has been so bad ! they love it and it really tires them out !! whats Carterton like ?

Small enough town to walk most places, has a library and leisure centre which help on wet days! There is Kangaroo joes which is like Jolly Rogers but we havne't been yet, DS Godmum lives nr Swindon so we take her with us
We go to Witney for most of our activities (Gym babes and monkey music) although we seem to end up in Swindon for shopping - can you beat pets at home for a day out?
Yes, gemmummy, DH is RAF - do you want to come and see how its changed since you were there?!

Hi Yorky

Carterton sounds really nice , its good when you don't have to drive everywhere , especially when the weather starts to get a bit nicer. Yeah I know what you mean I was over at Dunelm yeaterday afternoon I love that shop I always end up going in for one thing and coming out with a huge bag of stuff!!
