First baby due 20th Feb 08

Hi, my first baby is due on 20th Feb. I'm considering using the birthing centre at WJC.
Is anyone out there also due around my time? Would be nice to have a chat.
Also, has anyone given birth there? Would be interested to hear about your experience.

Hi Summer66. I live in Chelmsford, didn't give birth at WJC but a friend did and said she had a great time there. Very etentive etc. Good if you want a water birth. My DD's are 2.3 years and 11 months old. Good luck with the birth!

I was drawn to your message as 20th February was when my first child and daughter was born at St. John's hospital!

So when was your baby born and what did you have? How did the birth go and how are you enjoying motherhood?

I was lucky with the birth and am enjoying motherhood but have to confess to getting a little bored at times. I do try to get out of the house at least once a day to avoid what I call 'cabin fever'.
