DS has been offered a place in reception at both schools and we are struggling to decide.
I have heard from parents with children at both schools who seem equally happy with them. My understanding is that the Perse might be a little more academic/pushy and St Johns stronger in arts / drama /music but i'm not sure to what extent this is true
DS is bright but can also have 'big feelings' and thrives in an environment where he can be helped to overcome frustration, fear of failure etc.. I really love the emotions for learning program at St Johns for this reason but it also seems like the Perse is doing a great job at building confidence and supporting children with a growth mindset in the early years
I'd love to hear from parents at either school or even better from parents who have experienced both.
