Is it possible to find a nanny for 1 (maybe 2) days a week in Colchester?

I am thinking of going back to work and I want to look at the possibility of a nanny. Not sure whether I would find someone for just one or two days a week. Does anyone know where to advertise or search for a nanny? Or, better still, does anyone have fantastic nanny who works part time for them and who would like to do an extra day?

Thanks Sophierosie...I'll have a look. I also need to get a list off the Colchester Borough website too, I think. I am just looking at options at the moment...nothing final yet.

Hello. i have a very part time nanny - shes got her nneb and is now doing part time teacher training so it suits her very well. She does 2 mornings a week just to give me a break and time to do my OU work. I found her on gumtree - of course i had to do some research about her references etc, but it has worked out brilliantly. vivastreet sometimes has nannies advertised. Good luck! (and no- you cant nick her off me )

I'm not ignoring you dynamicnanny, I just don't have a job yet, so it would be too presumptious to start searching properly.
