nurseries in Hither Green

Does anybody have any personal experiences of nurseries in Hither Green, South East London? I'm considering Zoom Nursery or The Park Nursery for a 1 year old, but they both seem very expensive. (£52 and £47.50 per day) Are there any other good options nearby

Our son has been at zoom since 7m, now 27m, 3d/week and they are great - we are really happy.

Other friends use the Park nursery and also Genesis, which is near Manor Park Gardens. again, people have had kids there for a similar amount of time and are happy.

If you are looking for nurseries in the area - they're all about the same price I'm afraid!

Hi,
I'm new to the local mumsnet - good to see there are a few people talking!

We use Step by Step nursery. It's pretty rough looking from the outside, but the staff are very good and my little one is happy.

Would be very curious to hear the scoop on all other places....

Cheers

sorry - forgot to add that step by step is £155 per week. they only offer fulltime places.

Hi! I have just enrolled my daughter in Step by Step. I was impressed by my visit there despite the appearance from the outside which is not great. It is very reasonable compared to other local places and it was one of the only places that let me use reusable nappies.

Mimsy2000 - glad to read that your little one is happy at Step by Step. How old is he/she? We'll be there from April so maybe see you around!

my little one is 20 months old. he's in the baby room until 2. glad you found something.

cheers

Hi, have just had a little boy, four weeks ago and was wondering if you could let me know how you go about contacting these nurseries. How far in advance do you have to register them as planning on returning to work at around 7 months.

cheers
