Walthamstow / Higham Hill

Hello! Just looking for some advice! We've been looking in Walthamstow and found a place we love that is near Lloyd park on the higham hill side.
We did want the other side nearer the village etc, but we would have to do alot of work to a house for our budget.
Just wanted some honest feedback, so we still get the best of Walthamstow life? Are we losing out hugely on schools?

It's a very well connected part of Walthamstow as it's close to the tube has various bus lines. There are quite a few families around and some school catchments.

It's only a 25 minute walk to the village from there so you wouldn't be missing out on much. It's also a short walk to the wetlands and St James street, which are pretty nice areas too.
