Avanti Hall, Exeter

Can anyone tell me anything about Avant Hall School in Exeter? It looks great on the face of it but most of the comments online relate to the old Steiner school which isn't helpful. There's no current Ofsted information either. We need a smaller, more relaxed, caring secondary school for our son who is in Year 8. Is the pastoral care good, and the SEN provision? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Hi there, my son is currently in his final year at Avanti School, which was previously Steiner. The school has improved so very much in the last two years with some very special teachers on board. The grounds are amazing and the small size is perfect for us. He has made some wonderful friends and is very happy. Hope this helps a bit.

Hi, Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. It's great to hear from someone with a child at the school. I attended an open day a while ago and really liked the feel of the school.

My friends’ daughter goes there and loves it. Very inclusive, long holidays, reasonably strict.
