Considering a move to Amersham?

We’re considering moving to Amersham with our 3yo and 1yo, to have more space, affordability and slower life yet we’re Londoners through and through and love the social buzz here. Any advice or experience of living there with small kids? Thank you!

Hey! We live in the South Bucks area too, having moved from London 3 years ago with our two kids.
Amersham is a fantastic option. Beautiful countryside all around, a great commute into town for work or city fix, loads of fantastic restaurants, cafes etc...Plus we're lucky to have quite a few nice towns in the local area to mix it up too...Marlow, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross are all great with lots to offer.
There's a lot for mums with kids. I've found it very easy to meet other mums and have built up a good network pretty quickly.

@whatthejuice what are the shopping mall options for the area? We also considered it but it seems quite a journey to get into London.
