I never waned to live in Guildford but its grown on me now that we are in a position that we need to move out of our place.
We are preparing to buy and our landlord just decided to sell our property so we need to rent again in a very short time frame.
Only makes sense to test Richmond out before buying but its making me so nervous.
Guildford is comfy, I just started work from maternity leave, and we only just sorted a nanny for our daughter that seems good.
Ive always felt like there arent many like minded people here as I am an american (37f) who likes yoga and matcha lattes.. lol.
Anyways, would love any encouragement if anyone else has made the same move.
We definitely cant afford the same quality of house but our commute will be better and I imagine it could be fun. Might be my only chance to give it a go before we get locked in somewhere.
I dont want to have regrets or be resentful to my partner for trapping me here..
