Hello, so we are currently planning to move back to the UK from Brussels and my husband will still need to travel back to Brussels weekly for work. Where do you recommend we live? I suppose the "must have" is decent access to St Pancras/Kings Cross stations. So I'm looking at the Thameslink train map and seeing how far out it goes. Brighton? St Albans?
We will rent for at least a year and want our £2000 pcm budget to stretch so getting closer to London doesn't look as attractive in that respect.
We have a 1 year old and I'm a SAHM so looking for a nice town with lots of cafes, shopping, restaurants, playground etc that I can get to with a stroller.
I prefer access to South London so that I can drive to my family in (preferably max.) 1hr on a weekly basis (when hubby goes to Brussels).
