I wanted to highlight my daughter’s (aged 7yrs and 4yrs) school: Falcon’s School for Girls which in 2014 relocated from I believe Clapham to larger premises in the Putney/Barnes area. It seems to remain a hidden gem and as a really emotionally invested parent (my daughter’s previous primary school Sinclair House School closed thanks to the effects of Brexit/Covid) I really want to help spread the word to local parents in Barnes as I feel like sometimes only the bigger schools such as Putney High / The Harrodian tend to get all the (albeit deserved) recognition. Really though, Falcons it’s the most special place and one both my daughters skip into every morning. The education they offer has impressed me beyond ways I can describe with small and welcoming classes. They are thriving there in short and I felt it my duty to help try and spread the word.
The school truly has outstanding facilities within four Edwardian Houses in Woodborough Road, a leafy conversation area and the school boasts an excellent ofsted report. It just needs a little promo as still relatively new to the area. www.falconsgirls.co.uk
