Hi, we are relocating to Hove or the surrounding areas. We are really considering Patcham as it has more affordable housing and nice gardens and we don't have a huge budget.
I just wondered what the atmosphere is like round there? We are moving from a really built up area in South East London and the local school has such a diverse but friendly bunch of parents. Noone is cliquey, and everyone is welcome etc. I imagine Hove being similar as people move from all over the place, but I'm wary of moving somewhere more suburban where most people have lived there all their lives and it's harder to make friends. I'll have no friends or family in the area. Are the schools nice there?
Any and all advice welcome as I feel completely overwhelmed by all the options at the moment!
