Local buses

Could anyone please tell me what the bus services are like in Sevenoaks and Tonbridge? We are moving and have visited houses in the surrounding areas of Sevenoaks but the bus services seem to be every hour or only at school times. Are they more regular in Tonbridge? Preference is to move nearer to Sevenoaks as I will be driving to South London for work, but my mum (who is going to live with us) doesn't drive and needs regular buses to the local station and high streets. Any advice would be much appreciated :-)

As this is months later, not sure how relevant this reply will be but for both Sevenoaks and Tonbridge, yes it tends to be hourly buses during the non school daytime, fewer in the evenings and hardly any on Sundays. KCC has slashed its budget as well with a number of buses now no longer running. I don’t drive and live in outer Sevenoaks. I manage and will either use trains or buses to get around, sometimes a mixture of both.
