I'm passing through Winchester in a few weeks and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for a place to visit with a 4 year old? Thanks Smile

Marwell zoo - it's fab really good afternoon out

Winchester science centre and planetarium is good for that age.

For a whole day the science centre. It’s too pricey for a short time though.

Thanks very much! Perhaps I'll see what the weather is doing and let that decide between Marwell and the science museum

Funny, I was there today with DS who is 4. The Science Centre is great, and Marwell is also amazing but tickets to both are expensive.

The other option for a rainy day is to look at the Theatre Royal as they do loads of 'children's' shows and seat prices are reasonable. Case in point, I took my toddler to Sooty's Magic Show there last week and DS to see The Tiger Who Came To Tea today.
