I thought I'd like to introduce myself:

I'm 36, single, and mummy to the fabulous nearly 4 year old, Jamie.
I'm a WAHM selling nappies, and play around with web design in the hope that it will one day provide me with the income the nappies fail to bring!

Just a little hello, but I thought it'd bring some other locals out of the woodwork :

I'm doing the baby fair too!
In fact I'm doing the website for the baby fair I don't know if you were told but I can do a special page for every stall holder so please get in touch and give me a bit of blurb and contact details and I'll get it in!

Sorry for wandering off topic gals!

Klaw · 12/01/2008 22:56

Ok Dingdong, I'm heading off to the website to contact you now!

Klaw · 12/01/2008 23:00

OK, dingdong, I'm not sure if any of the contact things on the site go to you and you don't accept CATs so I'm not sure how best to contact you.

You can get my URL via my profile, and contact me via that. Feel free to do what you can with the info on my site.

dingdong05 · 14/01/2008 23:03

Hello All

I'm a mum of 3 living in Dundee. I have 3 children, aged 5, 3 and 1, (and 1 cat!).
Brand new to mumsnet :-)

Klaw · 17/01/2008 12:47

So, are we going to have a mini MN meet up on Sat then?

Sign below if you're coming to the Marryat Hall so that we can look out for each other.

Me, Klaw
Dingdong05

littlepinkpixie · 18/01/2008 09:35

Hello Klaw, Clayre and dingdong05

Thanks for the welcome!

I'm not going to be at the baby fair unfortuanatly. Have to admit to being very tempted to go along and look at cute baby things, but as my youngest is now 1 year old, and no more children planned I dont really think I should!

littlepinkpixie · 20/01/2008 12:10

How was the baby show? Was it well attended? Did you all have an exciting mumsnet meet-up?

Klaw · 20/01/2008 19:27

Hi LPP, thanks for asking! The Fair was steady but not overly busy.

Dingdong is lovely

I mase sme nice contacts with the other stall holders and quite a few ladies took my business cards so hopefully awareness that there is a Doula available in Tayside and Angus will begin to spread

Hope my nerves didn't make me haver too much nonsense! or come across too eager and therefore offputting....

It was great to see all the little cloth bottom stuff and also the baby wearing stuff.

I SO want another baby now!

PinkPussyCat · 23/01/2008 13:52

Hello! I live in the carse of gowrie, I have a 6 month old son who has just started solids, so keeping busy! I also have a cat (though not a pink one lol!)
Am gutted I didn't know about the baby fair! Would have been nice to meet up.

clayre · 23/01/2008 16:32

where is Carse of Gowrie?

PinkPussyCat · 23/01/2008 16:51

Hi Clayre, it's that whole big flat area next to the Tay between Dundee + Perth, where you will find Longforgan, Inchture, Errol etc. Farms + suchlike!

dingdong05 · 23/01/2008 23:51

Hello!
Shucks Klaw, you're pretty lovely yersel
and those cakes kept me going til home time!
I reckon your right about getting your name out there, though. I thought it was great having you there it felt like a proper holistic baby fair with you, and the sling lady ect ect there. When we (the DRNN) decided to host one I was worried it'd be nappy central, but there seemed to be a good mix...
Next step the Baby Show in Glasgow, which is a gizzilion times bigger than our little fair
And MUCH more expensive... I think the cost for my teeny stall costs the same as the marrayat hall last week!

This is a right cat loving crowd, isn't it?
