Donhead Prep school

Hi, we are considering to move our DS from an outstanding state school to Donhead prep school. We visited this school and really like it. We are no religious family. Could you please give me some recent feedback of this school? DS is a very quiet boy so really wants to know if this school will fit him. Many thanks

Hi not sure if this is too late to be useful. But i have DC at Donhead and not that impressed to be honest. I think the way they handled things during the pandemic was not very good

Hello
i did the same and swapped my DS 2 years ago, it was the best decision ever, my son is thriving in Donhead. They encourage him to be his best self, he has sports, plays, arts, music, he is excited to go to school every day.

Love to have feedback on this school? From fellow parents 🙂

Does it have good feeder stats to local senior schools?

The recent stats for Donhead are pretty good, although mostly spread out in Surrey rather than local. There is limited local independent options. KCS is very close but often considered too much of a hot house by Donhead parents, but a few go most years. Also a few to grammars. Reeds was the most popular school for leavers last year. Boys also tend to go to Emmanuel, Epsom, Hampton, KGS, St John's, Trinity and Whitgift. Wimbledon College used to be very popular with parents but this has reduced.
