Can anyone recommend a washing machine engineer?

Our machine died on christmas eve and we've had no joy finding someone to fix it - the shop in crouch end (middle lane) isn't answering phone. can anyone recommend a reliable engineer who fixes washing machines?

we're also after an electrician but that's a long story...still, if you know of one, we'd be grateful!
