Central School of Ballet offers a range of dance classes for children and young people from 3 – 18 years through the Junior School. The aim is to provide exceptional standards of ballet tuition for all abilities whilst emphasising an open and inclusive community ethos. Junior School classes take place on Monday to Friday evenings from 4.30pm onwards in term-time. Classes commence with Pre-Ballet for children aged 3 (turning 4) in the year before they start school and run up to the 16-18 Years Ballet class for older, more experienced dancers. Classes are held at Central’s bespoke new studios in Southwark, just 10 minutes from Waterloo Station.

My daughter is interested in ballet and has classes in south London in a very good school, but recent incidents indicate to me that as a 10 year old black girl she’s not getting the support to be progress further, won two competitions, come second in 3. Not boasting because she’s my daughter but she’s very attentive and focused.

She’s at grade 3. can anyone please recommend a top ballet school/academy in south London? In and around the Bromley, beckenham, area. She’s so good we’re willing to travel but with 3 kids can’t go too far. May be up an hour travel. Please help.
