Nursery for baby Richmond

Hello

I am looking for information / recommendations for nurseries in Richmond for a one year old.

Most seem to only cater to two plus.

I have so far identified The Vineyard Organic Day Nursery, and the Kings Road Nursery.

Does anyone a) have any insight on these, and b) have any other recommendations on nurseries / childminders in central Richmond?

Many thanks!

Both the nurseries you describe are wonderful. Take a look around and you soon get a feel for the place.

Our Childminder is fantastic (Edyta Kulpa) and for a 1YO a childminder is a great option as they are a domestic setting.

May I ask how much having a childminder cost compared to a full day nursery which is around £2100 for Richmond area?

I would prefer having a childminder for a baby. Although I wouldnt know where to go and how I can ensure that there are trust worthy.

Comparable. Typically between £10-12.50 per hour all in.

You can use tax free childcare and eventually say 30 hours free childcare when Richmond borough will give the provider around £5 so we bridge the rest.

Look on the Richmond council website list or childcare.co.uk and meet some.
