Ravensbourne area - Hillbrow Road and the area

Hi - I am thinking of moving to Beckenham and have visited the area many times over the last year or so.
The house I found is in Hillbrow Road, on the other side of Ravensbourne Station - an area I know nothing about.

Can anyone give me any opinion of the area? Is it peaceful, safe, friendly? I have worked out the schools, so I am good there.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Hillbrow road is more Bromley / downham than beckenham. Close to Beckenham Place Park which is fab but I wouldn't go near Downham. The road itself is fine.

Thanks, that's helpful- I know it's outside the Beckenham area even on Rightmove, that's also why I don't know anything about it.
