Hello. I’m thinking of moving from London to the Altrincham area so I can commute to Salford by tram/bike. A friend has recommended Timperley and I’d love to know what it’s like to live there with young children.
In London we’re spoilt for toddler groups & have a large common just 5 minutes away.
How would Timperley compare for toddler groups and access to green spaces?
Is it a peaceful place or is it busy with traffic? Is there a community feel?
Which are the nicest areas?
Is it in the catchment area for AGSB?
My friend said Sale is more built up and urban - is that right and does Timperley feel more village-y?
I’d be grateful for any info and experience you can share as I’m feeling a bit nervous about the move.
