McArthur Glenn worth a trip?

I’m looking for going out clothes so a dress and top for lunches, party. Not very formal but not jeans and tshirt. Is it worth a trip to the outlet? Online still seems very summery and I fear that there will still be lots of summer stock there. Worth an hour drive each way?

Depends what you like.

What's your style and how old are you
I'm mid 40's and like a casual rock style or a dress and boots for a night out and I wouldn't be arsed to drive the 30 minutes from here to go there

We were there recently and Monsoon was full of bikinis and summer clothes but everywhere else seemed to have a good mix.

95% casual, so jeans or a cord skirt/ denim pinafore and long sleeved tshirt. Of an age where I wore suits to work and nothing without a lining. Wore Peter Pan collars as a child and jumper dresses and ra ra skirts as a teenager so I have seen and worn everything before! I’ve seen a few things online but either I can’t access my account (in the password reset loop) or size 12 is out of stock.

I find the shops there pretty middle aged style
Which direction are travelling from? If your Llanelli/Carmarthen Way I'd try again online if Newport away I'd go to Cardiff

Thanks but I’m in the South East hence this local topic.. Would love a trip to Cardiff though!

I quite enjoy having a mooch around Ashford. Can’t comment on stock though. You may be better off going to Bluewater or Lakeside.

It won’t be summery. It’s always seasonal. I think it’s worth the trip. I love it there but live close by. All under cover and just generally a nice place to be, specially week days.

Thanks, I’ll try and get there. Just need a going out/ party top. Looking forward to the journey as I’ll probably take the train and so a couple of hours of peace!?

As a teenager I use to love it there. The shops were great. I've been a few times this year, recently to look for a wedding outfit for my mum. I found it was mainly suit shops for men and out door shops. I usually go for the stetchers shop and chocolate these days. I'm 38 and can't say I'd buy any clothes there.
