i haven't been to church for 20 years but i would like to find a nice child friendly church in walthamstow. A church where you can stay in the service with your child even if they do make a bit of noise. Tried a church today and had to sit in a baby room unable to hear service with other mums no Dads! They are allowed spirtual enlitenment.

Hi, I go to St. Patrick's and our Lady of the Rosary (Blackhorse Road). I take my almost 4 year old. Sometimes the 2.8 year old comes too. I get very paranoid if they start to be noisy. But have never been told anything.
There is a Mass at 9am, I go to this one because there are less children. The 11am can be challenging, there are lots of kids and some parents really let them run wild. There is no baby room, when mine play up I prefer to go out a little bit.
Just recently the priest gently suggested that parents could try to bring the noise down at the 11am Mass. But that is only fair, otherwise people won't be able to get anything out of the Mass.
If you are really keen I can suggest St. Charles Borromeo in Ogle Street, central London, this one is fanstastic. Great priest, there is a baby room with speakers, so one can hear very well and come in and out as one pleases. You do have to go in if the baby is loud, but you still would take part in the service. People go to this church from all over London.

hi it depends on what type of church denomination you want. we go to ecc( emmanuel christian centre) at walthamstow academy. its really good, multicultural and they have classes for each year group. my kids love it as they get their own mini service while were having ours.
