Hi, i am new here so apologies if i am posting in the wrong section.
My child has been offered a place at Durham sixth form, he has asked if we could move there.
We currently live in the North West and I have recently got out of a long term relationship, we are living with my mum and the job I have isn't the best so it would be good for a new start.
I am trying to decide if Durham is a good area to live and if there would be a future my my 16 year old child, how easy would it be to gain employment? I am currently an office manager. What areas are good to live in and commute to college for my child. I hope somebody can help answer a few of my concerns.
