Moving to Suffolk

My husband and I are keen to move to Suffolk, I have family connections with the coastal areas around Dunwich. We're keen to live somewhere quiet and rural with a large garden to grow food, but also that caters for families (such as good schools / library / shop). We also work from home so need some wifi.... Be interested to hear your recommendations!

Where are you moving from? I was born and bred in Suffolk but moved to the North West 5 years ago, due to my husband’s job. Generally I find the North a far friendlier place - people in Suffolk (I lived all over) tend to keep themselves to themselves. I think this is a North/South thing so if you are moving from somewhere similar it might suit you. Parts of Suffolk are beautiful but WiFi/phone signal is patchy in rural areas. There used to be a fabulous fish and chip shop in Dunwich but I haven’t been for years!
