Grove Road, Amersham

Hi there,

We're looking a bit further afield than where we are currently and want to get a feel for Amersham around Grove Road.

We have two kids, which will be going to secondary school and being in a family friendly neighbourhood is super important.

Does Grove Road and surrounds have a good reputation and are there good schools other than grammar schools? My son needs a bit of extra help and is being assessed for dyslexia so being at an accommodating school with extra help and understanding is a necessity.

I don't know Grove Road but Amersham School is great and has lots of help for children with additional needs. My children aren't at secondary yet but that's high on my list of choices. Everyone I know speaks very highly of it. Amersham itself is a great place to raise a family; it's safe, friendly and there's loads to do within a relatively short distance. Good luck with the move!
