hello, I'm fairly new from Edinburgh too so thought I'd say hello! Thanks on the tips for discussions to avoid - I have spotted some fairly heated rants on here but lots of good chat too. I've just read a marathon rant-a-thon by some fairly strong minded women and was tempted to post 'play nice ladies' but I wasn't sure what it might do to their blood pressure! Crikey, I thought I was opinionated.

Anyway, just thought I'd say hello to some fellow edinburgh folk.

Hi I've just found this too, thought I'd also say hello to everyone in Edinburgh . Peed off with the weather at the moment, I'm finding it difficult to get out with the pram coz it's so cold, wet, windy etc. Roll on spring!

Hello, just arrived here too, bored stupid with hideous weather too weeglenny would love to have gone out for a walk but with a bump this size if wind knocks me over I may not get up again! Dont mind wind or rain but together they are un-bloody-bearable!

I live near the Gyle, but its quite nice.
Where are you living now? I lived in Leith for a bit too and hated it, the lower down Leith Walk you get, the faster you want to run, IME.
