Why is thus school taking in children from isleworth before children who live in Richmond on waiting list

The short answer is probably that they meet a higher priority admissions criterion than you - check their admissions policy on their website. But if you can prove they haven't applied the admissions policy properly then you can appeal.

Their admissions policy is very complicated, but, children with a certificate of Catholic practice living outside the 12 named parishes area higher priority level than children living inside without the certificate.

However, they made an error on my daughter’s application and initially we were offered 2nd choice school, but they offered a place after identifying the error made,
