Hello, i know there have been many posts about relocating to Guildford so please bear with me. Ive been out of the country for 11 years and we are in the process of relocating. we are looking at Guildford or very close by neighbouring towns/villages. Ideally staying as close to Guildford as possible. We looked online rightmove and looks great but there nothing better than hearing directly from you who live in the area and your experiences. We are a Ghanaian family but raised and born in the UK and looking for diversity, inclusive environment, stability and safety. I see that its pricy and we have an ok budget I hope to get a nice semi 4 bed we hope. youngest has the option to go to boarding school in Sussex, but would like to consider a local state or independent school so he can make friends in the area. Could you help out with best areas to consider, are Guildford folks open and friendly, is there enough to do, we are fairly active and like walking, as well as restaurants and want to where possible integrate.
