Moving To Clitheroe, Tell Me Everything 😁

Hey, so we have finally made the big decision after a year or so of talking about it to move Up North from Dorset in the South.
There are many reasons, financially and a better/different quality of life being another, also our tiny 2 bed flat will get us a very nice 2/3 bedroom house with space for family to come and stay.
My husband has a job offer within his current company and will be moving up in October 👍 and we are hoping that our flat would of sold and house bought in Clitheroer etc all by Dec/Jan (the quicker the better).
Our daughter is 9 and in Year 5 at school and I am early 30's and currently work in a community cafe helping volunteers with life skills also, I have figured it maybe easier for me to get a job once we have moved.
We have looked around lots of different areas in the North whilst staying with friends but fell in love with Clitheroe and from our research beforehand it seemed perfect and not many bad words seem to be said about the place.
Please tell me everything and anything?
Our daughter loves her sports, swimming, football so any club knowledge would be great and I wouldn't mind joining pilates or similar to get out meeting people.
Anyone wanting to meet up etc also would be great.
Thanks
Chelsea 🤩

We live in barrow the village next to clitheroe. It’s just nice, nice bars and restaurants and great countryside. Quite a few gyms, local pool is fine , there is a private one at a boarding school nearby. There’s football pitches near the pool, tennis centre and my 11 year old does climbing and fencing. Great posh Everyman cinema. Decent schools state and private and a selective grammar (appreciate some people will see that as a minus!)
