South Sutton - Beeches Walk, Crossways, Banstead Road South

Are there any particular trouble hotspots here? In particular around the Crossways, Banstead Road South and Beeches Walk side of Barrow Hedges school.

Would love to know if there are any areas which local know are particularly anti social, at risk of burglary, vehicle crimes etc. I know there is crime everywhere, but in each town there are always those that are best avoided...

Is that area generally safe?

Nothing at all wrong with any of those areas. No safety or anti-social issues. Parking for the Marsden spills into Banstead Road South and the council has had various different parking schemes, so be aware of that. There have been consultations and some changes recently in South Sutton but I don’t know the exact changes on each road. Banstead Rd Sth obviously busier. Also Seaton House School attracts cars at times, but it’s quite a small school.
NB There are local hoppa buses that use some of those roads (but that’s a good thing).

Re the buses, if you need to get to Sutton station then the S1 is a pretty good service if you are not far off that route. The S3 and S4 take longer. Feel free to ask any more questions.

Are you local, OP. Do you know Sutton/Carshalton Beeches? I’m guessing not or you wouldn’t be asking that question.

Hi @MMAMPWGHAP thanks for your views! No we are not local but know the area from travelling past and viewing properties. I think on balance it is a pretty busy road so we will skip that Banstead Road South area...
