Bit of a niche request - Ed Alleyne Johnson

I’m hoping someone who lives in York sees this and can offer a suggestion!

We’re visiting N Yorkshire for a week for our hols this year, and I’m planning a day in York. Then I remembered Ed Alleyne Johnson has sometimes busked there. A million to one chance, I know, but as I’ll be there anyway, and loved his albums in the 90s...

Can anyone suggest likely spots in York where he has been spotted, please, or even days, if he only busks w/ends, for example?

Usually in the square near Browns dept store.
You will find him with your ears though. I once crossed Chester city centre to find him!
