Hi, I'm new to mumsnet and not too great on social media workings so please bear with me.
I'm starting a Womens football team at Leeds Juniors AFC. Its a beginners team so no skill, fitness, nor knowledge required. The aim originally was to give some of the soccer mums a chance to have a go themselves. (and I have some interested) but really its for anyone over 16.
Its gonna be fun in its orientation though there will be matches and training they will be of a friendly rather than competitive nature.
What I'm looking for are ideas to promote the team and therefore pick up players. Or people who are either interested in joining or know someone who might be and are willing to pass on the message.
