Just moved to St Albans

Hi, I have just moved to St Albans and have a daughter who is 8 months old. Are there any mums with similar aged children who would like to meet up or any groups people can suggest so I can meet some mums.

Mine are older but loads to do in st albans- welcome! if i were you id join the nct - they have coffee groups for every area so you can get to meet all your neighbours - you dont need to have done the classes or anything like that

there are playgroups for every day of the week - check out the local churches for which day they do - abbey, st peters church and others hold them

there are music groups everywhere too - have a look for posters in the children's centre on verulam road and in the baby shops (blooming marvellous has adverts) - cafe in verulamium park has posters too

Mine are older too, but I know there are quite a few mumsnetters who live round here
