Oaklands Primary

hi, we're on the waiting list for Oaklands Primary (reception and y3) and wondered whether it's likely spaces will come up over the summer? I know difficult to say, but wondered if anyone has any local intel... I know people say there's usually movement over the summer... any advice very welcome!

I don't know about Oakland's specifically, but Ealing is normally an area with quite a high level of movement in primary schools. The move from year 2 to 3 usually sees some children moving to private school so is usually a good year to get a place.

But I don't know how events over the last year or so will have affected that, it's maybe going to be different this summer.

@NuffSaidSam thank you, t.at's useful to know, particularly about y2/3. Yes, it's so tricky to predict anything this year isn't it - guess a lot of people moving out, but also from in too. Hopefully something will come up
