Don't know if there'll ever be any replies to this as I don't think there are many MNers around these parts but still . . .

I've been meaning to get around to posting here for ages but every time I go on I get sucked into MN & 3 hours later I've achieved nothing & have 2 bored & fractious toddlers desperate for my attention. I can usually be found lurking around the Arts & Crafts forum with occasional forays into AIBU if I'm feeling masochistic. I have 4 dcs; 3 girls aged 14.9, 13.5 & 2.8 & 1 ds aged 12 months. I'm secretary of our toddlers & run the Monday group & I'm also secretary of the Fife Real Nappy Network so I'm kept pretty busy.

The site is looking very bare at the mo so please, please, please feel free to add listings, reviews etc.

Cheers,
S x

Hello! I'm another fifer, just north of Dunfermline. I have a DS (2.4) and DD (9 months) and they pretty much take up all of my time!

Hiya Suzi2

It's nice to hear from you - I was getting a little bored just watching all the tumbleweeds roll past.

Are you close to Dunfermline?

CarolB1334 · 30/11/2007 11:10

Hello! I'm another Dunfermline MNer, although more of a lurker than a poster! I have two boys (7 mo and 2 yo) and in my "spare time" I make jewellery and run a baby-related online business (don't want to say what in case it looks like I'm advertising!!!). Nice to know there are other local mums on here

GreebosWhiskers · 30/11/2007 13:44

Hiya CarolB1334

Sounds like your wee ones are around the same ages as my younger 2 - dd3 is 2.9 & ds just turned 1 a couple of weeks ago.

GreebosWhiskers · 30/11/2007 13:49

Meant to add;-

If anyone's interested there's a craft fayre at the Link church on Priory Lane, Dunfermline tomorrow (1st December) from 10am to 12:30pm. I'll be there with my stall selling wee crocheted knick-knacks so if you do go please feel free to come over & say hiya

Not sure how many other crocheters will be there so if you take a look on my blog you'll at least recognise the stuff on the stall - it should save some poor random stranger giving you funny looks when you introduce yourself by your MN name

suzi2 · 30/11/2007 20:33

greebos - they're sooo cute! A farm shop near me was selling crocheted flower keyrings - they weren't yours were they?

I'm in Kelty. Used to live in Dunfermline (near Tesco) until a couple of years ago. I too enjoy making jewellery and doing crafts, but since DD hardly sleeps and only settles for me, I rarely get a chance.

Where's priory lane? DH and I have babysitters for a couple of hours tomorrow lunchtime and are heading up the town...

GreebosWhiskers · 30/11/2007 23:58

Thanks Suzi2

Unfortunately the keyrings aren't mine. Is the shop Kathellan by any chance? I lived in Kelty for years when I was married to ex-h & it was called the Butterchurn then. Used to do fab clootie dumpling - when dh & I first met we used to wander up on a Sunday & have soup & a roll, clootie dumpling & custard & a drink all for under a tenner!

Priory Lane is at the bottom of New Row & the church is the big old building that always has a banner outside. I've marked it on the map.

Maybe see you tomorrow

suzi2 · 01/12/2007 09:44

It was the lochend farm shop - on the way up to kinneswood. They sell some nice bits, as do Loch Levens Larder so you should maybe sell there :-)

The butterchurn was much better than kathellen. It's sooo overpriced now! I don't mind paying a bit extra for nice things but when it got taken over some things we bought regularly went up by 100%!

DH and I are hopefully in the town today so Imight pop past
