Hi everyone! Me and my wife are looking for a new and bigger house, we are looking to rent cause our budget to buy would be too low for what we need at the moment.

First of all, what we need: 3+ bedroom house, with garden and garage, ideally 2 bathroom. The reason is my wife being a childminder so we need an extra bedroom, and ideally the 3rd room for a possible newcomer in the family Wink.

We are going to view a 3 bed house in Wricklemarsh road, very close to A2. Now I've checked the schools around and it should not be a big problem, but if anyone lives in the area, how's the green space and playground for children? I only looked over Google Maps, and could not find any park in walking distance, which may be a problem since my wife would need a playground close enough for her class.

Plus, as far as anyone of you know, are there good baby classes around? Where she can bring the children once or twice a week maybe?

Any any any other suggestion will be super appreciated!

Ps. We are not limiting our search to Blackheath only, we are open to go virtually everywhere as long as there a good family environment, schools and green spaces and is not a problem to go around in the evening walking (we are in maryland now, so not really strolling-friendly past a certain hour!) Zones we considered are Enfield-southgate, Blackheath, Twickenham (Teddington).

Thanks everyone!
T.

Have you looked at Eltham ? Not too far away from that area but plenty of green spaces and activities for kids.
