Hi everyone, am in need of advice! We’re pondering a move away from Cambridgeshire as we would like to be closer to our families. We’re thinking Stroud may be a good choice as it ticks a lot of boxes - good schools, good vibe, pretty, lots of hills, stuff going on and connected to London. Does anyone have any thoughts on where to focus the house hunting and places to avoid (like the dark part of the valley which I’ve read about!) We’re going to have to think about secondary schools pretty soon for DD - what are the options like for schools other than the grammar? Any advice or comments much appreciated!
