Relocating To Barnet- Please guide

HI Mumsnetters,

One more thread .Could you please advice about areas around Mays Lane,Ducks Lane in Barnet.

We do need to move in Barnet due to Son's School ,but have no idea bout the area.Again don't judge me ,but essentially looking for a safe secure area for family .
Have seen a property around one of the closes in Mays lane, really liked it and is convenient for school (QEB) ,but have heard that I should avoid any area near Dollis Valley estate ? I have no idea.My general impression was that Barnet is pricey but safe mostly ?

Thanks and any guidance on any other areas which work best for QE boys.

The elevenplusexams forum has a discussion section on QEB with lots of questions and answers about areas near the school to live etc. Maybe try there if you don't get many replies here?

In our case we have zeroed down on this area around Mays Lane,and hence wanted to check specifically ,if there are. any issues
