Cowgate Under 5 drop off/pick up

Hi everyone,

The waiting list for Cowgate Under 5 has finally opened for us and we are considering moving nurseries. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how the parents with cars drop off or pick up their children from there? Having had a look on google maps it looks almost impossible. Any tips would be much appreciated!

Hi, you may have already decided by now but we’ve just started and you can park on the High St for long enough to drop off in the morning. We’re still figuring out what to do at the end of the day which is a bit harder. I think for now we’ll both go so that we can just wait with the car and move if we need to while the other goes in. If only one can go then we’ll just pay to park for 30 minutes as close by as we can get! My daughter is loving it so far so we’re really happy with the decision to switch.

Thanks! I have managed to find parking on Chambers street so far, but was thinking ahead of post lock down when it will be more difficult to find parking. I also made a mistake of thinking I could park on single yellow line for 10 minutes but got a fine already!

We have literally just got started, so still to see how my DS will settle in but so far it has been a nice experience.
