Social housing mutual exchange

I have a 2 bed maisonette on the 2nd floor of a lovely building (viewing advised) with large communal gardens.

It has a balcony, hardwood floors, double glazing, and a dual shower. Both bedrooms are large doubles. Companion animals are allowed (we have a dog).

It's a housing co-op, so the people who live in the building decide how to run it. There is a range of people living here, plus some offices and studios in the building.

The rent is £71 per week, and there is free broadband internet. It's near many amenities, including good public transport, in Hulme. It has nice green views of the community garden centre opposite.

I need a 3 bed in Hulme, west Moss Side, Whalley Range, or west Fallowfield.

Have you looked up the housing swap sites for those areas.

Yes, I have done three mutual exchanges before, and I am already registered on several homeswapping sites and am in local swapping Facebook groups.

But I need to upsize, and there is not enough family size social housing, so it's very hard to find a suitable exchange in those circumstances regardless of how desirable one's house is, as far fewer people need to downsize.

I've been looking for 6 years already this time, and it's really impacting on our family life and mental health being overcrowded (for disability-related reasons) for that long.
